New Delhi: The government today said it was aware of the reports that a US-based company has been marketing a kind of beer named 'Gandhi-bot' and the matter has been taken up with the relevant authorities.
In a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs Gen (retd) V K Singh said the government is aware of the reports that a small local company (New England Brewing Company) in the state of Connecticut in the US has been marketing a kind of beer named 'Gandhi-bot'.
"The matter has been taken up with the relevant US authorities and the company. The state officials, including the Glastonbury State representative have also raised the issue with the company," Singh said in his reply.
