Have filed a complaint against Sunday Guardian: Vijay Mallya
Mallya said he has filed a complaint against Sunday Guardian with the cyber police station in Mumbai on allegations of a 'fake' interview published by the newspaper.

"I have not given any email or any other interview to anyone including the Sunday Guardian. The email account that has been attributed to me does not belong to me. Every comment, therefore, is fabricated," he said in a statement emailed by the UB Group spokesman.
"In all fairness, all TV channels and newspapers who have quoted from the interview should publish a retraction," he said in the statement after mentioning about the police complaint he has lodged.
Mallya is battling cases on alleged loan defaults worth more than Rs 9,000 crore. He has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate to appear before it. Meanwhile Mallya left India on March 2.
The interview quoted Mallya as saying the 'time is not right' to return to India.
On March 14, Mallya tweeted he was 'shocked to see media statements' about the widely quoted interview. He said he hadn't given any statement to anyone.
Following that, the newspaper published what it called the trail mail between itself and Mallya. The emails were shown to have come from an encrypted email id called vjmallya@protonmail.com, which the newspaper said to have confirmed from his legal counsel.
Late last night, Mallya tweeted he 'never ever had' nor does he have a protonmail account.
"As I said earlier I have never ever heard of proton mail," he said adding the Sunday Guardian's claim of him writing to them from that account is 'fake'.
