CHANDIGARH: Haryana Government has decided to strictly implement the recent orders of the Supreme Court to ban 15 years old petrol vehicles and diesel vehicles that are over 10 years old in the areas of National Capital Region falling in the state.

"The instructions to this effect have been issued to the concerned officers," Haryana transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said.

Panwar said that several demands raised by roadways union, including outstanding bonus, uniform and increase in other allowances have already been approved.

He said that in future also all genuine demands of employees of the transport department will be addressed on priority basis.
