Haryana to soon have VITA milk booths at IOC pumps

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation will soon open VITA milk booths at several petrol pumps of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) in the state.

A spokesman of the cooperative said on Monday that a proposal to this effect has been approved by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He said the move will not only help boost sale of VITA products but also enable milk unions get additional income.

The spokesperson said possibilities would also be explored to set up booths of VITA in Chandigarh Union Territory, the way Punjab’s Milkfed has done for its flagship brand ‘ Verka’. He said this would also generate employment opportunities and enable people to buy VITA products at different locations.
