Haryana to organise 'health mela'

The Haryana Health Department will organize "Health Mela" in 9 villages to provide free health services to the people living in the remote areas of district Sirsa from April 30 to May 28, 2008.

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Health Department will organize "Health Mela" in nine villages to provide free health services to the people living in the remote areas of district Sirsa from April 30 to May 28, 2008.

Giving details, an official spokesman said today that this mela would be organized at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Darbi on April 30, PHC Malekka on May 3, PHC Kharian on May 7, PHC Nathusari Chopta on May 9 and PHC Madhosindhana on May 14.

The mela would be organized at Community Health Centre (CHC) Badagura on May 16, CHC Odhan on May 21, PHC Goriwala on May 23 and PHC Desujhodha on May 28.

He said that physician and Orthopedic surgeons, eye specialist and gynecologist would be present in the mela for providing their services to the people for their health check-up.
