Haryana to launch the 'Dal Roti Scheme' in the state on Tuesday
Haryana is all set to launch the 'Dal Roti Scheme' in the state on Tuesday with Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda rolling out the scheme.

Ministers of district public relations and grievance committees will be launching the scheme from their respective districts. In July the state government had announced to implement the scheme by August 20th the birthday of Rajiv Gandhi. An official spokesman said that about half of the total population of Haryana would be directly benefited from this scheme as they would get food grains on subsidized rates.
After the approval of the President, the National Food Security Ordinance -2013 was issued on July 5, 2013. It aims to provide adequate quantity of qualitative food items to the people at affordable prices so that they could lead their life with dignity said the spokesperson.
He said that finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha would launch the scheme at Ambala, power minister Ajay Singh Yadav would launch at Mewat, Industries minister Randeep Singh Surjewala at district Karnal, revenue minister Mahender Pratap Singh at district Palwal and public health engineering minister Kiran Chaudhery at district Mahendragarh.
Similarly, agriculture minister Paramvir Singh would launch at district Sirsa, education minister Geeta Bhukkal at Rohtak, health minister Rao Narender Singh at district Bhiwani, cooperation minister Satpal Sangwan at district Jind, minister of state for labour and employment Shiv Charan Lal Sharma at district Rewari and minister of state for sports Sukhbir Kataria at district Hisar.
