Haryana police deputes 150 police marshals
Haryana Railway Police has deputed about 150 police marshals in trains and at various railway stations and platforms across the state in order to keep a vigil.
Addressing police officers at a meeting at Haryana Police Academy in Karnal today, Haryana Director General of Police Rajiv Dalal said these police Marshals who will travel in plain clothes in the trains would work as extended eyes and ears of the police department.
Haryana Railway Police would also install close circuit cameras at all major railway stations in the state to keep an eye on the movement of people, the DGP said.
