Haryana government to set up CM window for grievance redressal

CHANDIGARH: Haryana government will set up a 'CM window' at the secretariat in each district for grievance redressal of the people.

"If you have any complaint, register them on the Chief Minister's Grievances Window that would be set up in each district for instant redressal of complaints. You can look forward to an SMS or call on the action taken," Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said while addressing a public meeting in Karnal today.

Khattar asked the complainants to mention their mobile numbers so that they could be informed through SMSes or over phone about the action taken on their complaints.

"All complaints will be processed instantly. Everyday, I will myself review the action taken on the complaints by the Deputy Commissioners," the Chief Minister said.

"Our first priority is to make Haryana a corruption-free state. It is the foremost duty of public servants to provide timely services to people," he said.

Khattar also said appropriate measures would be adopted to tackle the problem of unemployment in the state.

"Employment will be provided on the basis of merit. Appropriate steps will be taken to root out the problem from the state," he said.

"Immediate steps would be taken against private schools for arbitrarily hiking school fees," the CM said while referring to the request of The Guardian Integration Association.

He also asked officers and NGOs working in the state to actively participate in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachch Bharat mission.
