CHANDIGARH: Intensifying its efforts to implement " Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign in the state, the Haryana government has decided to display logos of the programme at government buildings and public places in 12 districts to spread awareness among the masses about the initiative.

The decision came a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep concern over the skewed sex ratio in 100 districts of the country with situation being "more serious" in Haryana.

The logos would be displayed at all bus stands, railway stations, private and government hospitals and all schools and colleges, industrial training institutes, corporate sector and cooperative banks.

They will also be displayed at government offices in the 12 districts - Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Yamunanagar, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Jhajjar.
