CM Khattar urged all the political parties to unanimously pass the resolution by rising above the politics in the interest of the State.

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana assembly on Monday passed an unanimous resolution condemning the passage of the Bill by the Punjab assembly de-notifying the land for the SYL as "unilateral, unconstitutional and denying the authority of the Supreme Court, a step only to draw political mileage," and requested the union government to annul this illegal and unconstitutional action.

Moved by Irrigation Minister, O P Dhankar, the resolution was unanimously adopted by the House.

While speaking on the resolution, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar urged all the political parties to unanimously pass the resolution by rising above the politics in the interest of the State.

He also condemned the unilateral, unconstitutional, denying the authority of the Supreme Court action of Punjab which is a step only to draw political mileage. He also urged the government of India to annul this illegal and unconstitutional action.
