Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, expressing anguish over the uproar that led to the adjournment of the Lower House just before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on Wednesday, said he had advised the PM not to come to the Lok Sabha as Opposition MPs had surrounded his chair.The Speaker said some Opposition MPs had “misbehaved” inside the Lok Sabha chamber, and he had prior information that Opposition MPs, led by Congess, might attempt to create disorder during the Prime Minister’s address.
