NEW DELHI: IAS officer Gyanendra Dev Tripathi was today appointed as Private Secretary to Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh.
Tripathi is a 1998 batch IAS officer of Assam Meghalaya cadre.
He has been appointed for a period of five years or on co-terminus basis with the Minister's tenure, said an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training.
