The newly set up Gurgaon Municipal Corporation has decided to impose two per cent stamp duty on registry of land in villages brought recently within its jurisdiction.

CHANDIGARH: The newly set up Gurgaon Municipal Corporation has decided to impose two per cent stamp duty on registry of land in villages brought recently within its jurisdiction.

Disclosing this to the media here today the Corporation's first Commissioner Rajiv Sharma said the move is aimed at generating revenue at the local level.
