Gujarat Ministers appointed in-charge of various districts
Days after taking over, new Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel today appointed 18 of her Cabinet colleagues as in-charge of various districts.

Cabinet Minister Nitin Patel was given the charge of Gandhinagar, Kheda, Vadodara and Rajkot districts. Another Minister Ramanlal Vora will look after Patan, Banaskantha and Surendranagar, a statement said. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama was given the charge of Mehsana, Panchmahal and Dahod, while Finance Minister Saurabh Patel will supervise development activities in Botad, Bhavnagar and Surat districts.
Ganpat Vasava, a prominent tribal leader and a Minister, has been asked to look after Narmada, Valsad and Dangs districts, all having large adivasi population. Cabinet Minister Babu Bokhiria has been entrusted with the responsibility of Devbhoomi-Dwarka, Jamnagar and Junagadh districts. Besides these 6 Cabinet Ministers, a dozen MoSs too have been roped in for the job. Some of these Ministers have been made co-incharge.
The co-incharge Ministers of State include Dilip Thakor (Mehsana and Kheda), Tarachand Chheda (Banaskantha and Surendranagar), Jayesh Radadia (Jamnagar and Bhavnagar), Bachu Khabad (Tapi) and Kanti Gamit (Chhota-Udepur).
Other Ministers of State who have been given charge of the districts are: Vasuben Trivedi (Morbi, Ahmedabad), Pradipsinh Jadeja (Mahisagar, Bharuch), Chhatrasinh Mori (Anand), Jaydrathsinh Parmar (Chhota-Udepur), Rajnikant Patel (Sabarkantha, Arvalli), Govind Patel(Gir-Somnath), Nanu Vanani (Tapi, Navsari), Jayanti Kavadia (Porbandar, Amreli) and Shankar Chaudhari ( Kutch, Ahmedabad City).
