Gujarat govt bans Jaswant's book on Jinnah
Gujarat government banned expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh's controversial book on Pakistan founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah which allegedly defamed the image of Vallabhbhai Patel, officials in the CM's Office said.

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat government banned expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh's controversial book on Pakistan founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah which allegedly defamed the image of Vallabhbhai Patel, officials in the CM's Office said.
The BJP had yesterday completely disassociated from Singh's book "Jinnah--India, Partition, Independence".
Singh had praised Jinnah and charged first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Vallabhbhai Patel with being responsible for the partition of India.
The ban on Jaswant's book came soon after his expulsion from BJP.
