Gujarat Govt asking cooperatives to send people to BJP rally: Congress
AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Congress today alleged that the state Government was asking the co-operative bodies to send people to the farmers' rally organised by the ruling BJP in Surat tomorrow.

"We have accessed a letter of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) sent to Surat dairy cooperative president asking him to send 5,000 farmers to the rally," Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi alleged.

"The state government which has failed to solve the problems of farmers is facing difficulty in attracting farmers to a rally which is being organised by BJP," he said.

"Farmers do not come to their rallies but they have to be taken to the venue," Doshi said.

BJP president Amit Shah, Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and state BJP president Vijay Rupani will remain present at tomorrow's rally.
