MUMBAI: BJP's national vice-president and Rajya Sabha MP Purushottam Rupala appealed the Gujarati community here to support Narendra Modi, who is facing Assembly elections in Gujarat next month.

Exuding confidence that Modi will retain power, Rupala said, "There's no one who can compete with Modi. BJP will emerge victorious in Gujarat."

Rupala, a leader from Gujarat, was addressing a gathering of Gujarati community at BJP's Dadar office here. Mumbai BJP president Raj Purohit, senior leader Kirit Somaiya and others were present.
