“The district in-charges have been told to prepare road maps for various programmes, stay at the top of the happenings in their areas and evaluate the work of the party periodically,” Pandya said adding that focal idea has been to strengthen the party at the grass roots level.

Apart from chief minister Vijay Rupani, deputy chief minister Nitin Patel, state president Jitu Vaghani and other senior leaders, BJP Gujarat in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, all the presidents of the various morchas also attended the meeting.

BJP already in the strategising mode is expected to chalk out the programmes including seminars, cleanliness drives, blood donation camps and other means to reach out to people over next few weeks.
