Greater Noida Authority disburses Rs 43 cr among farmers

GNIDA has disbursed Rs 43 crore among farmers of three villages as hiked land compensation during the last two days, an official said today.

GREATER NOIDA: Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has disbursed Rs 43 crore among farmers of three villages as hiked land compensation during the last two days, an official said today.

About Rs 28 crore was disbursed among farmers of Bisrakh and Roza Yakubpur villages today, while several farmers of Maicha village were given cheques worth Rs 15 crore yesterday, additional district magistrate Shishir Singh said.

The authority has organised camps at these villages to distribute compensation cheques among farmers.
