Govt is determined to root out terrorism : PM

NEW DELHI: Condemning the terrorist bomb blasts in Guwahati, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said that the government would root out terrorism taking the recent anti-terror measures to their logical conclusion.

"The government will stay steadfast in its determination to root out terrorism and that the measures initiated recently in this direction will be taken to their logical conclusion," he said in a statement.

He expressed his deep condolences to the near and dear ones of those killed in the blasts and sympatheis to those injured.
