Governor NN Vohra appeals entrepreneurs to invest in J&K

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra has appealed to the Kashmiri entrepreneurs to invest in their home state following an improvement in the situation in the valley.

PUNE: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra has appealed to the Kashmiri entrepreneurs to invest in their home state following an improvement in the situation in the valley.

Inaugurating a Kashmir cultural festival here last night, Vohra said "Kashmiri entrepreneurs should start investing in J and K offering job opportunities to the youths as the situation in the state is improving".

There had also been an increase in the flow of tourists visiting the valley, he added.

The Governor said the Kashmiri youths were an intelligent lot and deserved better opportunities in their home state.

The three day event, organized by "Sarhad" and Arihant Education Foundaton, will showcase a variety of art and music programmes depicting cultural features of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.

Those present on the occasion included former Union Minister Mohan Dharia.
