Government's social media campaign claims investors spellbound, women safe & NDA better than UPA
The govt has unleashed a social media campaign titled ‘NDA govt in Action’ to highlight how “Modi magic has spellbound” investors and how the BJP govt’s performance has “trumped UPA”.

The 60 slides, most carrying a different photograph of Modi, will be released in batches on Twitter by the I&B Ministry. Half-a-dozen slides have been posted since Monday.
“This all in run-up to the government’s first anniversary,” a senior government official said.
One slide cites the speed of construction of highways under the new government increasing from 5.3 kilometers per day in 2013-14 under UPA to 10.1 kilometers in the last nine months. “Good governance translating into solid work, how Modi Government’s performance trumps UPA,” the slide claims. Another slide cites the growth figures of Quarter 3 of 2014-15 to say good governance and reforms has helped India, at 7.5% growth rate, outperform China (7.3%). The presentation also says new investment projects have “skyrocketed” and scaled a “new high” of Four Trillion during the quarter ended December 2014, more than double the figures last June. Quoting the DSP Blackrock India Investor Pulse Survey, yet another slide says the Modi Magic has “spellbound Investors” as there is a very high level of optimism and positivity among them.
