Government's inaction on OROP impelled ex-serviceman to take extreme step: Sharad Yadav
The RS member claimed that people of the country have started losing faith in the democracy with the government actions allegedly reflecting dictatorial tendencies.

"I am deeply saddened on the demise of (ex-serviceman) Ram Kishan Grewal who committed suicide against inaction of the Government, and I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family," he said.
The JD(U) leader observed that not only ex-servicemen, but people in general including farmers, were feeling "helpless and unsecured" in the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Rajya Sabha member claimed that people of the country have started losing faith in the democracy with the government actions allegedly reflecting dictatorial tendencies.
"Not only this person (the ex-serviceman) but when I meet general public daily at my residence in Delhi, and whenever I tour outside Delhi, people show their displeasure and unhappiness, especially the middle and poor class of the country," he said.
70-year-old Grewal allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over the issue of OROP here last evening.
