"Government is stable. We have all the numbers," he told reporters when asked whether there was any threat to the government.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tonight ruled out any threat to his government, saying it was stable and had all the numbers in Parliament.

"Government is stable. We have all the numbers," he told reporters when asked whether there was any threat to the government.

He was speaking after the Defence Investiture Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Asked whether Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi had quit after his party Trinamool Congress objected to the hike in rail fares, the Prime Minister responded "I have not received any resignation."

Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee said she would not allow fare hike and demanded its rollback.
