Government building gutted by fire

BERHAMPORE: A government building was gutted by fire here last night.

Office of the SDO was damaged as the fire razed for a couple of hours before fire tenders managed to douse the flame.

Murshidabad district SDO Supriyo Das said some computers and files were damaged by the fire which may have caused by short circuit.

There was however no loss of life due to the blaze.
