The Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) has called a 48-hour Darjeeling bandh, beginning Saturday after the police arrested one of its central committee members and GTA member Benoy Tamang from Rambi recently, reports ET Political Bureau from Kolkata.

The GJM is also planning to hold a black flag demonstration during chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s likely visit to Darjeeling on September 2.
