MANGALURU: Goods worth Rs 20 lakh were stolen from a showroom for Apple products at Balmatta in the city today, police said.

The theft occurred at around 2.30 AM and CCTV footage showed three persons entering the store by breaking open the electricity service board.

As burglar alarm had been fitted on the products, the security agency of the store based in Mumbai got an alert and informed the manager, police said.

Before the manager and police could reach the spot, the burglars had decamped with the loot.

Canine squad and fingerprint experts were called to the spot.

A case has been registered and investigation was in progress, they said.
