GoM okays giving final shape to Lokpal Amendment Bill
NEW DELHI:A Group of Ministers headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday decided to give a final shape to the Lokpal Amendment Bill which the government may now bring in the Monsoon session of Parliament next month.

The law ministry has sent back its comments on the standing committee report on Lokpal which was submitted last December and the same report has now been taken cognizance of by the GoM on Wednesday, an official said. ET on Tuesday reported that the first indications of such a move had been made apparent with government notifying that only those private entities with an annual income of .Rs1crore and above, and which are funded by the government, will come under the Lokpal’s ambit.
