Gogoi welcomes N E industrial policy
The new North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy of the Centre was welcomed by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Thursday.

GUWAHATI: The new North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy of the Centre was welcomed by Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Thursday.
"The new policy has fulfilled most of our demands and is much better than the previous one," he said urging the entrepreneurs to take full advantage of it.
The increase in captial ivnestment subsidy will give a major boost to industrialisation efforts of the N E states and help in generating employment, he said.
Gogoi also welcomed the inclusion of service sector, bio-technology and power generating industries in the new policy.
