Goa ministers' performance lapses to be publicised, says BJP
The 'performance review' of the BJP-led Manohar Parrikar government in Goa will be made public, if serious lapses are found, the BJP announced today.

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has assured a "mid-term performance review" of all his ministers by September this year and promised "minor corrections" to the cabinet, if necessary, after the review.
Mesquita said that the review is being done to "find out weaknesses" in the government. "There are weaknesses in every sphere. We need to find them and correct them," the spokesman said.
Responding to a question, he said that aspects like criminal chargesheets against ministers would also be considered while reviewing their performance.
Taking a dig at the Congress party's recent decision to prepare a chargesheet against the Manohar Parrikar-led BJP government to point out to its flaws, Mesquita said, "Congress has been chargesheeted and punished by the people during the 2012 Goa elections and recent Lok Sabha polls. The people of Goa endorsed BJP's performance when they voted for both the candidates in the Lok Sabha election".
