Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar worried of "leakages" in Food bill implementation
"The concept of food security has been expressed by me in the DSS scheme. The name of the scheme itself was freedom from hunger," Parrikar said.

"My biggest apprehension in Food Security Bill is leakages," Parrikar told reporters here.
The BJP-led government in Goa had addressed this concern of food security way back by introducing Dayanand Social Security Scheme, which gives monthly remuneration to the needy and senior citizens in the state, he said.
"The concept of food security has been expressed by me in the DSS scheme. The name of the scheme itself was freedom from hunger," Parrikar said.
The DSS was introduced "to ensure that no one in Goa remains hungry,"
