Goa BJP dismisses speculation on Parrikar's return to state
PANAJI: The Goa BJP today ruled out that Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar could return to the state politics in the wake of 2017 Assembly election.

"There has been no discussion on Parrikar's return to state politics. Where does the question of taking any decision arise? I don't think he will come to Goa," BJP Goa Chief Vinay Tendulkar told PTI when asked if there were any plans for Parrikar's home coming ahead of the polls.

Some media reports recently stated that the former Goa chief minister had hinted at his return to the state politics, which he had left in 2015 after being elevated as Defence minister in the Narendra Modi government.

"No one has discussed about it. There are no talks within the party," Tendulkar said.
