KHANNA: Concerned over the rising cases of female foeticide in Punjab, Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Virendar Jainon Saturday said the girl-boy ratio in the state after some years would be 1:5.
He was speaking during a Seminar, organised by the Punjab Legal Services authority, on female foeticide and drug addiction.
Jain said while the difference in the ratio among male and female is much more in Punjab, it has improved in Haryana.
