Girish Bapat's 'late night clips' comment puts him in a spot

Maharashtra Parliamentary Affairs Minister Girish Bapat from the BJP has landed in a soup after his comment saying that he also watched 'late night clips' watched by youngsters.

Bapat, who is also Pune's Guardian Minister, was addressing students at a gathering of the Pune chapter of the Vidyarthi Hakk Parishad on Thursday night when he made those comments.

Addressing students Bapat said, "I know you students watch clips in the night. What you see is what I also see. So don't think that we are all old men."

Bapat's comments however have led to two Pune law students have filed a police complaint with the Deccan police seeking to register an FIR against Bapat for watching banned content.
