NEW DELHI: Congress tonight declared candidates for seven Lok Sabha seats, including three in Gujarat.

Jayesh Patel has been fielded from Bharuch, Naishadh Desai from Surat and Maksud Mirza from Nawasari in Gujarat.

Senior leader from Chhattisgarh Satyanarayan Sharma has been fielded from Raipur, Suresh Chandra Yadav from Bharatpur in Rajasthan and K Rani from Viluppuram in Tamil Nadu.

Pritam Singh Lodhi replaces Jaywant Singh in Hamidpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Besides, the party has also announced candidates for 7 bye assembly seats in Gujarat.

Former CLP leader of the State Shakti Sinh Gohil has been fielded from Abdasa, Vipul Patek from Himatnagar, Harshad Riwardiya from Visabadar, Nishant Chotai from Somnath, Anand Chaudhary from Mandvi, Hanubha Dhoraji from Lathi and Babubhai Meghji Shah from Rapa.
