Gangmumei Kamei to be BJP candidate for outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat

IMPHAL: Former Higher Education Minister Gangmumei Kamei will be BJP's candidate for outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat, a senior party leader said today.


Kamei is a former professor of the Manipur University, BJP state unit Vice President Th Nandakishor Singh told reporters here.

The party would soon decide the name of the candidate for inner Manipur parliamentary constituency, he said.

Manipur has two Lok Sabha seats.
