NEW DELHI: Addressing the AICC session here on Saturday, Congress president Sonia Gandhi said Gandhian ideals are under threat in the BJP-ruled states.

Praising the leadership of Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi said the Prime Minister has single-mindedly implemented the Common Minimum Programme.

Acknowledging the differences between the UPA and allies over the Indo-US nuclear deal, the UPA chairperson admitted that UPA and allies have divergent views on the nuclear deal and efforts are on to evolve consensus through talks.

Prime Minister has assured that the Indo-US nuclear deal will not affect strategic nuclear programme, said Sonia Gandhi.
