G-20 action influenced by India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi
India's championing of the black money problem influenced the G-20 communique promising multilateral action on the menace, PM Narendra Modi said in a blog post on Friday.

Modi, who returned from fivesummit meetings and 20 bilateral ones at the end of a marathon tour on Thursday, said that attracting investments into India and boosting trade ties formed the central part of his talks, and industry leaders from around the world are excited about coming to the country.
Warning that black money could destabilise world peace and harmony, the PM said he was glad that the world community took note of India's pitch to track down and repatriate black money as the problem doesn’t selectively affect one nation.
"Black money also brings with it terrorism, money laundering and narcotics trade. As democracies are firmly committed to the rule of law, it becomes our obligation to collectively fight this evil and there was no better occasion than the G-20 to raise this," Modi wrote, concluding that India’s efforts paid off.
"Numerous leaders I met were very optimistic about our 'Make in India' initiative and are keen to come to India and be a part of the extensive and diverse opportunities India has to offer. I see this as a positive sign, one that will bring several opportunities to youth and give them the right exposure," wrote Modi.
