Fully prepared for the 2017 Manipur assembly polls, says Irom Sharmila
Sounding optimistic, Sharmila said her exit from the hospital is a new step. She said that she will be opening an office.

Sharmila who recently broke her 16 years of fast unto death demanding repeal of Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) on Saturday left the Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital’s Special Ward which was her home for the last 16 years.
Sharmila said, “It is time now and people must realize we all are in a way a part of the dirt in today’s politics.”
Sounding optimistic, Sharmila said her exit from the hospital is a new step. She also added that she will be opening an office.
The 'Iron Lady' of Manipur will be attending the Global Youth Peace Festival which is to be held in Chandigarh from the September 27 to October 2. She now plans to take her campaign outside the state.
On political front she said, she is all set for the elections.
Sharmila will spend a few days at the Nature Cure Ashram, located in Langol.
