Full Election Commission to visit Haryana on October 4

CHANDIGARH: The full Election Commission will visit Haryana on October 4 to review arrangements for the October 15 Assembly polls.

Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer Shrikant Walgad said the Commission will also hold meeting with political parties here from 9 AM to 10.30 AM on the day.

The full Commission-- the Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners --- will also hold meetings with Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Home Secretary, Income Tax Commissioner and officers of Excise Department, Inspector Generals of Police, Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police, he said.

The Commission will also address a press conference after the meetings, he added.
