Fresh snowfall in Kashmir breaks cold spell

Many parts of the valley witnessed fresh snowfall today, which brought mild relief to the people as Kashmir saw an intense cold wave the past few days. More snow is forecasted till tomorrow.

The Met Department Director Sonam Lotus, said "The wet spell is for two days and the weather will improve from Wednesday afternoon,". The forecast also predicted the weather conditions will remain dry till mid February, with the temperatures showing a steady rise.
