Fresh case in Bhilwara but all 25 earlier patients cured
After hogging the limelight for its 'ruthless' coronavirus containment model, Bhilwara now has achieved another feat - all 25 Covid-19 patients it had till Thursday evening have been cured of the infection.

From March 19 till Wednesday, the textile town in Rajasthan had reported 27 Covid patients. The death of two of them during treatment had created a “very tough” situation. "It was a herculean task (to cure the 25 patients) but well accomplished by our department. We will continue to be vigilant to ensure that no further outbreak happens there," additional chief secretary (health) Rohit Kumar Singh said.
Expressing satisfaction over the achievement, CM Ashok Gehlot directed officials to implement the 'Bhilwara model' in other Covid-19 hotspots, including in Jaipur. Thursday’s fresh case was a 47-year-old teacher from Bhilwara. Health officials said the patient has claimed he has no travel or contact history. He is the 28th case in Bhilwara.
