Four RSP workers injured in blast at melting shop

ROURKELA: Four workers sustained burn injuries in a blast at a melting shop of Rourkela Steel Plant here, RSP sources said on Thursday.

The blast took place when hot metal was being carried by a crain at the steel melting shop no. 1 of the plant late last night, causing burn injuries to four workers, they said.

Two of the injured were admitted to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) while the other two were discharged after preliminary treatment, the sources added.
