Four militants killed in J-K gunbattle

JAMMU: Four militants were killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel launched a cordon and search operation Mora-Luther area in Mahore forest belt in the district, 110 kms from here, early this morning, a police official told here.

The gunbattle broke out when militants fired on a joint operation party, he said adding that four ultras were killed in the encounter.
