Four injured in Kashmir attack, gunbattle on

SRINAGAR: Four men, including a police constable, were injured on Wednesday after terrorists lobbed grenades and fired at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers at Lal Chowk in the heart of the city here, authorities said.

Among those injured were two civilians and a cameraperson of a news channel.

The guerrillas have entered a hotel and are firing on the security forces. The gun battle between the security forces and the guerrillas is on.

Senior police officers and CRPF personnel have rushed to the spot and the hotel has been cordoned off.
