Former US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns meets PM Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: Former US Deputy Secretary of State William Joseph Burns called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today.

Burns, the President of Carnegie Foundation for International Peace, also met former Commerce Minister Anand Sharma at his residence here separately.

Sharma said that they exchanged notes on bilateral issues and talked about the relationship between the two countries during the almost an hour-long meeting.
