Former Minister Dighole back in Shiv Sena

Former Maharashtra state minister and NCP leader Tukaram Dighole has re-joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Sena's Executive President Udhhav Thackeray.

NASHIK: Former Maharashtra state minister and NCP leader Tukaram Dighole has re-joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Sena's Executive President Udhhav Thackeray.

Thackeray welcomed Dighole's re-entry to party with his over 1500 supporters last evening at Sinnar, about 29 kms from here.

Dighole said that he decided to return to Shiv Sena as he felt "neglected" in NCP.

"Sena in 1995 had made me a minister, but NCP completely neglected me," he said addressing the rally attended by local Sena leaders and farmers.

Thackeray addressing the rally said UPA Government may have won the trust vote, but farmers trust his party more. And this is very important, he said.

Uddhav Thackeray also refused to accept a huge garland weighing 201 kgs specially preapred for him saying he would not accept any felicitations till the farmers in the state are debt-free.
