Former Maharashtra Minister Pratapsinh Mohite-Patil passed away at a private hospital here after a brief illness

MUMBAI: Former Maharashtra Minister Pratapsinh Mohite-Patil today passed away at a private hospital here after a brief illness.

Pratapsinh, brother of former Deputy Chief Minister Vijaysinh Mohite Patil, was about 60 years old. He was the Minister for Cooperation in the Shiv Sena-led state government in the mid-90s.

Born in 1955, Mohite-Patil was member of the 13th Lok Sabha.

His body was taken to his native place Akluj in Solapur district where the last rites will be performed tomorrow.
