Former Congress minister's son joins BJP
NEW DELHI: Former Congress MLA from Deoli Arvinder Singh Lovely, son of former Union minister Buta Singh, joined BJP on Tuesday. A number of other members of Khatik Samaj also joined the party. BJP members say this will help the party garner support of the SC community.

"I was disappointed with the Congress leadership, as my father was refused a ticket from the party in the Lok Sabha elections. I admire the work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past few months,'' said Lovely, who lost the last assembly elections from Deoli to AAP candidate Prakash. Lovely had won the election from Deoli in 2008.

Chattarpur councillor Anita Tyagi; Congress member Gopal Pahariya; DPCC secretary Shashikant Dikshit and; AAP members Sandeep Dubey and Chandrakant Tyagi joined BJP among others.
