Former Congress Deputy Mayor of Siliguri joins BJP

SILIGURI: Senior Congress leader and former Deputy Mayor of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Sabita Agarwal today joined BJP.

Agarwal, along with 38 members of Congress' student wing, Chhatra Parishad, and more than a hundred Trinamool Congress workers joined the saffron party at a rally here.

Senior BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh, BJP MP S S Ahluwalia and state party chief Rahul Sinha were present at the rally.
